Last night, the school was transformed into a vibrant workshop event hall for the Arts Festival, highlighting exceptional work from the Art, Photography, and Technology departments. The evening was a testament to student creativity and talent, attracting an enthusiastic audience.
The festival featured an array of interactive activities. Attendees participated in banner making, while talented art students offered five-minute portraits, showcasing their impressive skills. The event was further invigorated by a captivating performance from the school's steel band students, whose rhythms created a lively and festive atmosphere.
Adding to the ambiance, a Year 7 student delivered stunning live vocals, mesmerising the audience with an incredible performance. This musical interlude was one of the many highlights that made the evening truly memorable.
The event was honoured by a visit from the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Paul Andrews, who congratulated the students on their outstanding efforts and contributions. His words of praise underscored the high level of creativity and dedication evident in all the displays and performances.
